      When I press the “export to google earth" button, it does nothing.

      Install C++ Redistributables may solve the problem.

      If you encounter issues with exporting Google Earth data, try the following steps:

      1. Check if the necessary C++ Redistributables are missing from your Windows system, such as "Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2015, 2017, and 2019 (x64)" which can be found here. 
        You may also want to consider installing versions 2010, 2011, or 2013. After downloading the C++ Redistributables, remember to restart your machine for the changes to take effect.
      2. Make sure to run WindSim as an administrator to avoid any potential export failures.
