Now you can select the size of the buffer zone outside the Refinement Area
The adjustable buffer zone features enables you to set the extent of the buffer zone. This sets the total simulation domain, which can be useful when taking into account the local Terrain.
In general we should aim to avoid having steep terrain and roughness features along the border of the simulation area.
How to use
- Open the buffer zone tab in the Map Module
- Enter the wanted size of the buffer zone in each direction. In this example it is set to 10 000m north, 10 000 m west, 3 000m east and 3 000m south.
